Education and learning is one ofPalais de Lomé’s primary The Palais de Lomé will be offering workshops and visits especially designed for children, teenagers and families.
We reserve a special welcome for school groups, during dedicated time slots. Supervised by our cultural mediators, students will have the opportunity to learn about history, art, architecture, design, science, biodiversity and culture, to engage their curiosity in a new setting. Our mediators invite our young visitors to participate through active and animated visits. We will work with schools to prepare and complete the visit of each exhibition with an exhibition booklet for teachers and students.
Paul Ahyi’s cave
Paul Ayhi’s Cave is a treasure hunt game for young and teenage audiences in an immersive device integrating augmented reality. Children explore a cave covered with the layout of the city of Lomé, in search of fragments of works by Paul Ahyi. It is an opportunity to explore the city and discover the works of the most iconic Togolese artist, Paul Ahyi (1930 – 2010),
who designed several works in Lomé (including various bas-reliefs sculptures and statues).
Children (under 13 years) must be accompanied by adults. We invite you to read the Charter for Visiting the Palais de Lomé.
