The exhibition is dedicated to the iconic works of the ground-breaking Togolese designer Kossi Aguessy. A 12-minute video especially written and produced for the exhibition outlines Kossi Aguessy’s work, with exclusive contributions from renowned British designer Ross Lovegrove and journalist and TV personality Harry Roselmack. Major pieces, complete with iconographic contextualization (photos, sketches, portraits, and quotes) highlight Aguessy’s distinctive style which shaped his short-lived career. His work has been acknowledged by the most prominent international institutions and features in the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
