In the Park, visitors will discover sculptures and artworks by African contemporary artists, starting with a monumental group of bronze sculptures – Les Togolais (The Togolese) – that was created on site by Amouzou Amouzou-Glikpa.

They will also encounter an exclusive installation by Sadikou Oukpedjo, who carved a series of sculptures in Togolese marble, le Conseil des Sages (The Council of Elders).

Introduction to the use of plants

The Garden of Medicinal and Tinctorial Plants introduces the visitor to the medicinal use of plants, and to plant dyes (indigo, cola, etc.). Introductory workshops will give visitors the opportunity to discover the different plant dyeing techniques exclusive to West Africa, and the traditional use of medicinal plants.
