The Palais de Lomé plans to produce honey to be sold in its Boutique. It will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the extraordinary organization of bees and the workings of a hive. The beehives can be visited at certain times of the year. They will house two types of bees: the apis mellifera adansonii (bees with stings), but also the melipona bees, stingless bees, less known, which live only in tropical areas, and whose honey is particularly prized.
